OUTFIT: Princess Dress

I can't help but seeing this dress as a Princess dress, and I can't help (secretly) feeling like one when wearing it! but then again I always tend to be a bit in La La Land. The turquoise color of the Zara dress is such a match for the Gerard Darel 24h Python Bag, I still have to get used to having a Python print but I'm already loving it, there is a whole new world of styling for me to discover since I normally only have monotone colored bags! (Do check out the story of the Bag!) Also I'm still thinking about getting a collarbone tattoo and I'm trying really hard to imagine how it would look when looking at some of these photos!

OUTFIT: Gerard Darel Python Bag

I was asked by Gérard Darel to style and make a daily life ~ 24 hours rapportage with my favorite Gérard Darel "24 Heures"bag and not just for fun but for a very special project! My bag is the Python leather "24 Heures" cuir Utah 2007! and yes the year matters! 2007 was the year I was living in New York working as a fashion trend forecaster in the heart of Manhattans fashion district. My first job just out of college in a city like New York meant that for the first time I had money to spend on all those fashion cravings like amazing shoes and yes "it bags" my very first real designer bag was a MiuMiu and this bag reminds me it!

Little story about the creation of a big bag 

Creating a cult item can sometimes seem like an impossible mission. Yet when magic and desires get involved, a dream can quickly turn into reality. more Tattoo Inspiration

A little while ago I showed you one of my tattoo inspiration collages and secretly I'm contemplating getting another tattoo so I have been looking for inspiration yet again.  I love small tattoo's and I love quotes and words. For me one of the most important things is the placement! At first (and still am a little) I was thinking about getting another hand tattoo, on my finger this time but the truth about hand tattoo's is that they don't stay pretty, they bleed, fade and blur out quickly and horrible and only very rarely they stay nice (the tiny bunny on the finger is totally cute but will be a shapeless blur in no time). I do love tattoo's on the ribcase/sides and love tattoos just under the collarbone too when the placement is absolutely perfect. Right now I'm leaning towards a quote just under the collarbone but I will think about it some more.

I always get so inspired by City's like Paris and it's more then beautiful architecture! To me it feels like the perfect backdrop for floating fabrics and lush heels! And why not? I have collected my favorite Fishtail and Waterfall Braid tutorials over a bit of time for getting those beautiful pretty, romantic, sometimes simple and even sloppy undone looks! Often these Braids look far more complicated then they really are and I have found that the tutorials collected are the most easy and fun to work with while giving inspiration for future more complicated fishtail and waterfall braid fun in updo's and working in multiple sections!
